This promising rookie catcher for Sandy Springs garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 26-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .500 (11-22) with 2 home runs and 4 RBIs last week. In 103 games this season Baker is batting .340 with 130 hits and 18 home runs.
