 | Asheville-Anniston Brawl, Román and Randall Suspended Saturday, August 17th, 2013 The two main figures in yesterday's brawl at McCormick Field have been suspended for 5 games each. That action was taken today by the league commissioner's office and will take effect immediately. The suspended players are Héctor Román of the Asheville Tourists and Barry Randall of the Anniston Cougars. In 121 games this year Román has posted a .237 average and put up these numbers: 12 home runs, 43 RBIs and 37 runs scored. In 22 starts this season Randall has notched a 5-9 record and a 5.14 ERA. |   |
