 | Bad News for San Antonio, Denny Olson Hurt Wednesday, July 31st, 2013 Denny Olson at first refused to leave today's Murfreesboro-San Antonio game after he suffered a broken kneecap while making a defensive play. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty San Antonio center fielder said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Olson out of action for 8 months. So far this season Olson has 24 home runs and a .275 batting average. |   |
