 | Andrew Nielsen out of Lineup 11 Months Friday, June 14th, 2013 The Grand Haven Whitecaps will have to make do without Andrew Nielsen for 11 months. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Jacksonville Hellcats. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the starting pitcher. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." This year Nielsen has a 5-4 record with a 4.06 ERA in 14 starts. |   |
