 | League Suspends González and Cox for Fisticuffs Thursday, September 27th, 2012 The league decided to come down hard on Gabriel González of the Aeropostales and John Cox of the Bulls for their roles in a brawl during a game between Indian Wells and Durham at Stars Field. Both combatants will receive 6-game suspensions because of their confrontation. So far this year González has 7 home runs and a .263 batting average. This season Cox has made 44 relief appearances and has 1 save. His record is 2-2 with 63 strikeouts in 69.2 innings with a 5.30 ERA. |   |
