 | Pedro Nevárez to Miss 6-7 Months Friday, July 13th, 2012 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against St. John Stingrays, Cats second baseman Pedro Nevárez was injured colliding with a player at a base and is expected to miss 6-7 months with a broken kneecap. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Fort Worth skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. This year Nevárez has hit at a .333 pace and produced 32 RBIs, 7 home runs and scored 29 runs. |   |
