 | Salas on a Tear, Hits for Cycle Tuesday, April 17th, 2012 Sabercats shortstop Ramón Salas had one of the best days of his career today when he hit for the cycle and paved the way for the Mdewanketon 16-5 win over the Durham Bulls at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. He shelled them for 4 hits in 6 at-bats, collected 5 runs batted in and scored 3 runs. Ramón Salas tripled in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Bob Cusack in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, flied out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. For the season Salas has produced 10 hits in 50 at-bats for a .200 average with 3 home runs and gotten on base at a .245 clip. |   |
