 | Bristol City's Ichihara to Miss 6 Months Tuesday, September 15th, 2015 Yoshitoki Ichihara at first refused to leave today's Albuquerque-Bristol City game after he suffered a torn labrum while making a defensive play. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Bristol City left fielder said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Ichihara out of action for 6 months. This year Ichihara is batting .285 with 6 home runs and 63 RBIs. In 109 games he has scored 68 times. |   |
