 | Chicago's Callahan Out 4 Weeks Friday, August 7th, 2015 The Chicago Titans learned that Elvis Callahan is likely to be out for 4 weeks after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Springfield Reformers. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be an oblique strain. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Chicago manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Elvis is back in action."
In 8 starts this season Callahan has compiled a 5-1 record and a 2.66 ERA. | |
