 | Springfield's Hodges Out 7 Months Sunday, July 19th, 2015 The Springfield Reformers were dealt a severe blow when Ron Hodges was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Astoria Argonauts. After the game, the team trainer reported Hodges might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 24-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a torn labrum. They indicated it would take Hodges at least 7 months to heal. This year Hodges has compiled a 13-2 record with a 2.88 ERA. |   |
