 | Smashing Success: Morrison Wallops 3 HR Sunday, July 19th, 2015 Johnny Morrison, the Durham right fielder, blasted three homers today at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in the Bulls 8-6 victory against the Acapulco Banditos. For the game, Johnny Morrison scored 3 times and knocked in 3 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Morrison, when he reached home plate. In the clubhouse after the game, he gleefully said to the press, "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 4-for-6, three roundtrippers and a win. What a day!" Morrison is swinging at a .256 pace on the year with 20 home runs, 66 RBIs and 73 runs scored. He has played in 89 games. |   |
