 | Gray Launches 3 HR for Banditos Thursday, June 4th, 2015 Bombs away! Acapulco bombardier John Gray set his sights on the stands and blasted three balls over the fence in a 11-5 win over the Mdewanketon Sabercats. It was a powerful performance that should keep the fans at Mystic Lake Stadium buzzing for days. He spoke to the writers in the postgame press room and said, "I guess you could say I was a good guesser today... especially on the last one... I was ahead in the count, so I got set for a certain pitch... and got it... all of it." For the game the Acapulco first baseman had 4 hits in 4 at-bats, drove in 6 and scored 4 runs. John Gray singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Ken Hubert in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Pancho López in the 9th. This season Gray is hitting at a .429 pace with 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and has scored 13 times. |   |
