 | Titans Halt Kobayashi's Hit Streak Friday, May 22nd, 2015 Takanibu Kobayashi's 27-game hitting streak has now come and gone. It was snapped today in the Mustangs 5-4 setback to the Titans. Kobayashi went without a hit in 3 trips to the plate. Talking to BNN after the game he was visibly upset. But the streak had little to do with it. "I'm disappointed we lost, I'm not one bit disappointed that the streak ended," Kobayashi said. "The hitting streak was just one of those things where it was fun while it lasted, but I'm not going to lose any sleep tonight." Kobayashi on the season is hitting .333 with 3 home runs. His stats include 17 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |   |
