 | Kobayashi Batters Springfield for 5 Hits Friday, May 8th, 2015 "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Billings center fielder Takanibu Kobayashi said to BNN reporters after his fantastic 5-6 day against the Springfield Reformers at Cobb Field. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." The Mustangs had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 6-5. Takanibu Kobayashi tripled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 10th. Currently Kobayashi is batting .303 with 1 home run and 12 RBIs. |   |
