 | Sutton Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Tuesday, May 5th, 2015 The Aeropostales proved to be mere mortals today as they lost to the Banditos 12-4, but Charlie Sutton continued his god-like hitting as he collected 1 hit and ran his hitting streak to 20 games. When asked about his torrid-hitting left fielder, the Indian Wells skipper said, "Sutton is playing great and is on fire now. Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." Sutton was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said, "We lost the game. Nothing else really matters." Charlie Sutton flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and walked in the 9th. Thus far this season Sutton has hit .355 with 2 home runs, 19 RBIs and scored 26 times. |   |
