 | Ruíz Hits for Cycle Against Bronx Saturday, September 6th, 2014 Carlos Ruíz was at the top of the hit parade today at Bronx Ballpark in the Reno 22-6 triumph over the Bronx Bombers. The Raiders right fielder finished the game with 5 hits in 6 tries and 6 runs batted in. Ruíz also hit for the cycle, getting every type of hit you can get in a baseball game. Carlos Ruíz singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Millard Joseph in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, walked in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 9th. Currently Ruíz is batting .327 with 14 home runs and 76 RBIs. |   |
