 | Bombers Starting Pitcher Walker Injured Friday, May 9th, 2014 It took the Bronx team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Steve Walker won't simply play through radial nerve compression after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Cacti-Bombers game. At first, it looked like Walker might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 6 months. To date this year in 7 starts, Walker has crafted a 3-1 mark with a 5.05 ERA. |   |
