 | Injury Worsens, Return Delayed For Bombers Gibbons Tuesday, June 25th, 2013 The Bronx Bombers will have to do without starting pitcher Cecil Gibbons even longer than expected. Team doctors say that Gibbons's recovery from a strained triceps has not gone well and more time will be needed to treat it successfully. The Bombers trainer indicated it would be at least 2 weeks before they would consider activating Gibbons. In 14 starts this season Gibbons has crafted a 6-6 record with a 2.72 ERA. |   |
