 | Off-Field Injury Strikes Montrell Sturzo Tuesday, September 4th, 2012 The Dallas Texans might have angered Lady Luck. Their starting pitcher, Montrell Sturzo, was injured yesterday while shaking hands during a meet and greet and he suffered a knee contusion. According to team physicians, the injury will keep him off the playing field for about one week. Up to now Sturzo has compiled an ERA of 4.69 with a 11-9 mark over 26 starts. He has 134 strikeouts in 165 innings and has held opponents to a .265 batting average. |   |
