The 26-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .500 average (10-20) with 6 home runs, 9 RBIs and 11 runs scored. For the season Watkins is batting .319 with 117 hits and 22 home runs. He has scored 73 times and batted in 62. |   |
