 | Marauders, Hornets Make Trade Monday, July 30th, 2012 Maple and Eureka announced today in a joint press conference that 17-year-old minor league second baseman Sylvain Champion will be going to the Hornets in exchange for 32-year-old closer Brad Austin and $2,000,000 in cash. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end.
