 | More Injury Problems For Minnesota's Chip Render Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 Minnesota Berserkers shortstop Chip Render informed reporters that he will be missing additional time because of a setback in his recovery from back spasms. "It's a bit frustrating, sure," Render admitted. "I want to be out on the field. At the same time, I don't want to make things worse and miss even more time because I'm pushing it too hard." Berserkers doctors told BNN Render would not return for 6 days. Looking at his season stats, Render has compiled a .266 batting average and a .338 on-base percentage, while hitting 4 home runs and driving in 19 runs. |   |
