 | South Carolina, The Georgia Confirm Swap Tuesday, December 1st, 2015 It has been in the rumor mill for several weeks, but today team officials for South Carolina and The Georgia confirmed an agreement. The Bombers dealt 23-year-old minor league closer Luis Fuentes, 25-year-old minor league closer Nathan Mitchell and 27-year-old reliever Joseph Williams to the Grays for 30-year-old closer Gary Payne and 21-year-old minor league third baseman Lance Hartman. Since breaking in, Williams has posted a 8-9 record with 9 saves in 217 appearances. The 27-year-old has rung up 195 strikeouts, has a 3.86 ERA and has allowed teams to hit .260 against him. Payne has marked up 141 saves during his career. |   |
