 | RCL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Thursday, October 1st, 2015 Marty Silver's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Nottinghamshire first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In September he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .402 with 5 doubles, 3 triples and 4 home runs. Silver also scored 22 times and drove in 21 runs. Silver is hitting .336 for the season with 8 home runs, 72 RBIs and 80 runs scored. He has 156 hits in 464 at-bats and played in 121 games. |   |
