 | Warner's Treatment Not Going Well, Suffers Setback Monday, September 7th, 2015 Evan Warner is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for shoulder inflammation. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Republic sent the 29-year-old starting pitcher back to the doctors for reexamination. Warner told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Warner will now miss a minimum of 7-8 weeks. So far this year Warner has 7 wins and 5 losses and a 3.47 ERA. |   |
