 | 5-6 Day for Whitney Friday, September 4th, 2015 It was a parade of hits for Leslie Whitney of the Nottinghamshire Outlaws... one right after another... a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Ann Arbor Barn Owls for 5 hits in his 6 at-bats and propelled the Outlaws to a 14-7 victory. "Whitney was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Barn Owls manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Leslie Whitney hit an RBI triple in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this year Whitney is hitting .367 with 9 home runs, 94 RBIs and 111 runs scored. |   |
