 | Johnson Batters Minnesota Big Time Thursday, May 28th, 2015 Next time the Berserkers might think twice about pitching to Mike Johnson. Today at The Brew Stade the San Diego right fielder really burned Minnesota pitching, going 5-for-5 in the Hops 12-2 triumph. "When he's seeing the ball well," his skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Mike Johnson hit a two-run home run off Jimmy Drake in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 5th and singled in the 7th. In this current campaign Johnson is hitting at a .379 clip with 5 home runs and 29 RBIs. |   |
