 | San Diego Whitewashes Minnesota, Lee Winner Wednesday, May 27th, 2015 Dave Lee of the San Diego Hops was on fire against Minnesota. He shut them down 2-0 on 3 hits and no runs with 4 strikeouts and 1 walk. "The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Lee said. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that." Lee has made 10 starts this season, posting 5 wins and 4 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .246 against him and he has 36 strikeouts in 68.1 innings with a 3.82 ERA. |   |
