 | Pearson Suffers Career-Ending Injury Sunday, March 22nd, 2015 There was sad news in the baseball world today when it was announced that the career of Seattle center fielder Kent Pearson was suddenly ended by a torn labrum. He was hurt making a defensive play during a game against the Texas Gunners. The crowd at The Battlefield feared the worst when Pearson had to be carried off the field in a stretcher to the team training room. Pearson was taken to the hospital for tests after the game. Team doctors confirmed the diagnosis and said his career was over. |   |
