 | Stanley Richard to Miss 12-13 Months Wednesday, September 24th, 2014 The So Cal Republic were dealt a severe blow when Stanley Richard was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Washington Capitalists. After the game, the team trainer reported Richard might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 25-year-old reliever out for the rest of the season with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. They indicated it would take Richard at least 12-13 months to heal. Richard's record so far this season is 6-and-2 with no saves and a 3.83 ERA. He has given up 154 hits in 124.2 innings with 76 strikeouts. |   |
