 | San Diego Third Baseman Hurt Friday, September 12th, 2014 San Diego Hops third baseman Mario Vázquez left yesterday's game against the Dallas Texans after suffering a torn ligament in his thumb colliding with a player at a base. Vázquez was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Vázquez is expected to miss 3-4 weeks. This season in 115 games, Vázquez has hit at a .331 clip with 154 hits, 16 home runs, 68 RBIs and 72 runs scored. |   |
