 | RCL Player of the Week Chosen Monday, September 1st, 2014 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Dorian Knight, the San Diego Hops 23-year-old catcher, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 13 hits in 21 at-bats, compiling a .619 average with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs. This year Knight is hitting at a .308 pace with 17 home runs and 63 RBIs.
