 | Jennings Connects for 3 Homers for Marauders Wednesday, July 30th, 2014 Every now and then, the right things happen at the right time. Vic Jennings discovered that when he smashed three homers at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards during today's 16-1 win over the Jersey Jesters. The Maple first baseman said in the postgame interview, "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them. The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Jennings finished the day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats and 5 RBIs. Vic Jennings hit a solo-shot off Ricky Smith in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Marvin White in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Dean Smith in the 8th. Currently Jennings has 23 home runs and a .348 batting average. |   |
