 | RCL's Best Player, Frend of Seattle Monday, July 21st, 2014 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Roberto Clemente League, but last week Steve Frend of the Seattle Sasquatch reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Frend rocked opposing pitching for a .667 average (8-12), 4 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. A look at his current stats shows Frend with a .373 average, 18 home runs, 52 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has played in 61 games. |   |
