 | Becker Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, July 14th, 2014 At the age of 29, Tom Becker might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Washington left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .600 batting average. For his efforts Becker collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 15 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs and 8 RBIs last week in 6 games. This season Becker has hit at a .409 clip with 93 RBIs, 27 home runs and 66 runs scored.
