 | South Carolina's Smart Hurt in Accident Thursday, July 10th, 2014 South Carolina third baseman Gunner Smart called in hurt today. He told Bombers officials that he had suffered a knee contusion when he got into a fight with a news reporter over a television interview. After being examined by his physician Smart said it looked like he would probably miss about 4 days. This season Smart has 14 home runs and a .280 batting average. |   |
