STRAINED PCL SHELVES COLEMAN FOR NEXT 3 WEEKS

Strained PCL Shelves Coleman for Next 3 Weeks

What was originally thought to be a minor injury has turned into a major headache for Micheal Coleman and the Marauders. Coleman suffered the injury while out for a morning run. "All I felt at the time was a little pull and some soreness," said the Maple reliever. "Then it gradually became more painful." An MRI revealed that Coleman has a strained posterior cruciate ligament, which will keep him out of action for about 3 weeks. "We'll just have to make do without him and hope he's back with the team soon," said manager Allen Clifton. Asked if the team is exploring replacement options for Coleman, Clifton said, "We'll re-evaluate the situation in 3 weeks, but I really doubt we'll need to worry past that point."
