 | Thornton Keeps Hit Streak Alive Thursday, April 10th, 2014 Gordon Thornton's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Las Vegas center fielder smacked 2 hits against Eureka in today's game at Lucky 7 Ballpark to extend it, but he has mixed emotions about it. After losing to the Eureka Hornets, Thornton told reporters, "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose." Gordon Thornton singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and singled in the 9th. |   |
