 | Eureka's Gary McLernon Suffers Setback Wednesday, November 27th, 2013 Just when it looked like Gary McLernon would soon return to the Eureka Hornets, the second baseman suffered yet another setback in his recovery from torn ankle ligaments. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when McLernon experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be disabled for at least 3 weeks. His career numbers show McLernon has batted .264 and collected 285 hits, 30 home runs and 131 RBIs. |   |
