The Las Vegas Jokers were dealt a severe blow when Colin St. John was hurt making a defensive play recently in a game against the Minnesota Berserkers. After the game, the team trainer reported St. John might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 31-year-old right fielder out for the rest of the season with a concussion. They indicated it would take St. John at least 4-5 months to heal.

So far in 2013 St. John is batting .280 with 8 home runs, 33 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has 59 hits in 211 at-bats and a .358 OBP.
