 | Republic Allow Smith to Attend Birth of Child Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013 Colt Smith has a pretty good reason to miss a game: the birth of his child. Smith left early this morning to return home to be with his expecting wife. "I talked to him a little while ago", commented Republic manager Matt Hunt. "He was as excited as a new father can be."
