 | PL Player of the Week Named Monday, September 10th, 2012 The premier performer in the Pacific League this week was Tsuramatsu Furukawa of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. The hot-hitting 21-year-old left fielder put up a .500 average and .563 on-base percentage, piling up 7 hits in 14 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the PL Player of the Week honors. Furukawa is currently batting .237 with 7 home runs and 47 RBIs. |   |
