 | Aoyama Week's Top Player Monday, July 7th, 2014 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Pacific League, but last week Yosai Aoyama of the ORIX Buffaloes reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Aoyama rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (9-18), 4 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Aoyama is batting .321 with 22 home runs. |   |
