 | CL Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, June 10th, 2013 Today the Central League announced the Player of the Week Award. This week's honoree is Yokohama's talented first baseman Isei Ikeda. When he steps into the batter's box, it's usually a bad omen for pitchers. For the week Ikeda batted .360 (9-25) with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs. Thus far this season Ikeda is hitting .350 with 6 home runs, 20 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 48 hits in 137 at-bats and has played in 35 games. |   |
