 | Ridin' High: Kouda Hits for Cycle Wednesday, May 29th, 2013 Carp right fielder Shigeaki Kouda had one of the best days of his career today when he hit for the cycle and paved the way for the Hiroshima Toyo 11-8 win over the Yokohama Bay Stars at Cuckoos Stadium. He shelled them for 4 hits in 6 at-bats, collected 1 RBI and scored 2 runs. Shigeaki Kouda grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Josuke Yokota in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, tripled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. This season Kouda is batting .373 with 18 RBIs, 15 runs scored and 5 home runs. |   |
