 | Wight Strokes 5 Hits Saturday, May 4th, 2013 Today the Heat downed the Royales 24-5 as Jordan Wight sprayed hits all over Brantford College Grounds in a 5-hit explosion, finishing with 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The Kelowna first baseman said to reporters in the postgame interview, "It makes it easier if you get a good pitch. The odds are in your favor then, not the pitcher's. I got a bunch of very pretty pitches to hit today and I didn't miss any of them." Jordan Wight struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 6th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Bryan Mifflen in the 7th. Presently Wight is hitting .343 with 4 home runs and 15 RBIs. He has played in 19 games and scored 13 times. |   |
