 | Myers Selected SBL Player of the Week Monday, April 30th, 2012 Oklahoma fans have something to crow about today as Oklahoma first baseman Leroy Myers nabbed the Skip Bertman League Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Myers. He posted a .462 average (6-13) this past week with 3 home runs, 4 RBIs, and 7 runs scored. For the year Myers is batting .393 with 6 home runs, 14 RBIs and 23 runs scored. |   |
