 | Carrasco on Fire, 5-6 Against Long Beach State Saturday, May 4th, 2013 Houston defeated Long Beach State today at Ballpark of Macclenny College. The highlight of the game was center fielder Lorenzo Carrasco. His hitting heroics included a 5-6 day, paving the way for a Cougars 15-5 triumph over the 49'ers. Lorenzo Carrasco singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Paul Watts in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Carrasco is presently hitting at a .330 pace with 9 home runs, 27 RBIs and has scored 24 times. |   |
