 | Davidson Perfect Against Coney Island Thursday, July 5th, 2012 The dictionary defines perfection as "an unsurpassable degree of excellence." New Orleans Jedi Knights starter Tony Davidson achieved that goal today when he threw a perfect game against Coney Island, beating them 3-0. "I knew when I took the mound today that I felt good," Davidson said to reporters after the game. "I had no idea that I felt that good!" Davidson struck out 12, walked no one and allowed no hits en route to his historic gem. He retired 27 batters in a row. To this point in the season, Davidson shows a 7-4 record, 15 starts, 114 innings, 127 strikeouts and a 1.18 ERA. |   |
