 | Yamauchi Pounds BOL Pitchers This Week Monday, August 11th, 2014 Norihisa Yamauchi has been in a real groove lately. The 22-year-old Barrow Frosties center fielder nabbed Buck O'Neil League Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week. Yamauchi's hot streak featured 13 hits in 26 at-bats, 1 home run, 6 RBIs, 10 runs scored and a .500 average. So far on the season Yamauchi is hitting .310 with 9 home runs, 60 RBIs and 61 runs scored. He has 108 hits and played in 91 games. |   |
